I think this is probably the best place on the net to view and discuss JimLee’s work. Jim Lee – need I say more?

Nothing I can say about this guy that hasn’t already been said, except that he makes my artwork look like it was drawn by a 2yr old.

OK Comics http://www.okcomics.co.uk/about.htm
OK Comics - My favourite  comic shop in Leeds. This store is not diluted with toys and other merchandise, it’s all about comics. If you like comic books in all shapes and sizes, visit this store.
DC Comics http://www.dccomics.com
Marvel http://www.marvel.com
Queens of The Stone Age http://www.qotsa.com
I feel I have to mention this site as they are probably one of my most fave bands and in the unlikely event you’ve not heard of them, check them out.
Daniel Amazu Wasser This guy creates amazing collage art with a message. If any one is requiring some inspiring collage art, don’t ask me to do it, ask Daniel– he’s the king! At the moment, he only has a Myspace web page, but don’t let that put you off, he’s the real deal and will deliver. As soon as he gets his website sorted it will be linked on this site, but for now, check him out here!
Karen Burt http://www.karenburt.bravehost.com/
I like this girl’s artwork, it has a kind of Tim Burton scary fairytale type of feel to it. She’s currently holding exhibitions in theUK and Los Angeles. Check her out.

I was going to attempt to write a review of 'Can Rock & Roll Save The World?" but then decided that it wouldn’t sell it any better than the synopsis (see below) on Amazon.co.uk or any other place that’s selling it, so I’ll just keep my comments brief and to the point: BUY THIS BOOK! It’s very well researched and is definately NOT a rehash of stuff you’ll have read before, plus it’s got tons of really cool art – excellent scans. Anyone interested in comics, rock & roll or both will love it for sure.

Synopsis
Respected rock journalist and comic fan Ian Shirley examines the unexplored links between comics and music, from Frank Sinatra to the White Stripes and all in between.

Encompassing pop bands' own comics -for The Beatles, Kiss, The Monkees and Johnny Cash along with punk in comics, unauthorised comic biographies, 1960s psychedelic poster artists and fictional bands from The Maniacs to the Gorillaz, this book will look at rock and roll and comics from a totally different perspective.

Written in a clear, informative style with extensive interviews (including Alan Moore and Robert Crumb) and a multitude of illustrations with cover artwork by comic legend Mike Allred, this will be essential reading for music and comic fans alike.
